Pro Media recently completed a stunning home technology upgrade and media room redesign for one of our long-standing clients in Buckinghamshire.

What was once a separate annex has now been fully transformed into a luxury entertainment space seamlessly connected to the main house. The new wing includes a bar, pool table, dart board, wine cellar, media room, and guest bedrooms — all designed for relaxation, socialising, and entertainment.

Our primary focus was on the bar area and media room, delivering a perfect balance between high-end design and cutting-edge home automation technology.

Bar Area – Smart Lighting & Audio Integration

The bar area features a full Control4 smart lighting system paired with high-resolution in-ceiling speakers for immersive, high-fidelity sound.

With simple, intuitive scene control, homeowners can effortlessly adjust the lighting and music to create the perfect ambiance — from lively party settings to relaxed late-night drinks.

This integration demonstrates the power of Control4 home automation, allowing for complete mood and energy control throughout the entertainment space.

Media Room – Complete Redesign & Audio-Visual Upgrade

The original gaming room was dark, enclosed, and heavy in tone — a true “man cave.” We completely redesigned and rebuilt the room from the ground up to create a modern, inviting, and acoustically optimised media room.

Light brown and beige upholstered wall panels now give the room warmth and elegance while improving acoustic performance.

The AV system features M&K speakers, an Integra flagship AV receiver, and a Sony Bravia Pro display, all fully integrated and controlled through Control4. This setup delivers stunning sound and picture quality with seamless control via touch panel or remote.

Whether for movie nights, sports events, or gaming, this upgraded media room blends luxury design with powerful home cinema performance.

Whole-Home Integration – Seamless Smart Home Experience

As part of the project, we also integrated the network infrastructure and lighting control for the entire extension into the existing Control4 home automation system.

This ensures a seamless experience throughout the property — from the main house to the new entertainment areas — all managed from one central platform.

The result is a connected, intelligent home where smart lighting, audio-visual systems, and network management work together harmoniously.
