  • Outdated Processing Power: The Control4 HC800 and EA1s couldn’t keep up with modern automation tasks.
  • Limited AV Distribution: The Control4 AMS 8×8 Matrix Switch was restricting efficient content distribution.
  • Clunky User Experience: The SR250 and SR260 remotes were functional but not the most intuitive for everyone in the home.
  • Slow Network Performance: The Draytek Router and WiFi5 technology couldn’t keep up with the increasing demand for faster speeds.

The Control4 Upgrade: Powering Smarter Automation

As part of the upgrade, we replaced the core automation components with a Control4 Core 5 and Control4 Core 1’s for improved processing power, reliability, and flexibility. Here’s how the new system elevates the smart home experience:
