For this package we’ve gone with one of our long-time favourites here at Pro Media, Monitor Audio’s CP (Controlled Performance) Range. More known in the Hi-Fi world than home cinema, Monitor Audio know how to produce excellent sounding speakers without huge prices and we feel that their CP range really show off what they can do. Paired with a 9.2 channel Denon AV receiver you really can’t fault this system. All speakers are discreetly placed in-wall, including the 300w subwoofers and are tone matched with pivotable tweeters so we can align to your ideal seating position. The use of two sets of height channels in the ceiling along with rear and side surrounds really brings out the immersive audio feel using the full capabilities of Dolby Atmos/DTS:X.

As an immersive audio (7.2.4 Dolby Atmos/DTS-X) set up, this will well outperform your 5.1 systems that most high street retailers sell. Using Triad’s Bronze range for speakers and amplification from Denon’s flagship model, we have been able to create the ideal set-up without costing £10,000’s.

Do not let the Triad (A 30-year-old speaker manufacturer based in Oregon USA) “Bronze” name fool you, these speakers are individually manufactured in America to the standards of all the Triad ranges. The speakers in this system have been hand picked by our team of audio enthusiasts to make sure your blown off your feet during a movie or given goosebumps when listening to your favourite song.

Whether its the flutter of a butterfly overhead, or the thunderous roar of a T-rex, loud or quiet, this speaker package performs flawlessly. They also come in multiple formats to suit your needs within the room, in-wall, on-wall, or in-room are all options for this speaker set-up.

We’ve taken our silver package and turned it up to 11!

Performance upgrades means this package ticks all the boxes. This isn’t home cinema, its cinema at home.

Keeping to a 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos/DTS-X set-up but upgrading the speaker choice gives this package the gold badge. With this system we’re able to meet Dolby’s reference levels for cinema (105db to be exact).

We achieve this by using M&K Sound loudspeakers, a Denmark based speaker manufacturer who are serious about audio. They’ve been in the industry since the 70’s and it shows (sounds). With this level of system, it doesn’t mean it can just play louder, it has a wider dynamic range. This means there’s more separation between highs and lows, essentially you can hear more of the movie, how it was intended to be listened to. Whilst also being able to knock you off your seat, should you want that experience.

These speakers come in wall or on wall, in-ceiling or on-ceiling. We also pair the speakers with M&K Sounds’ subwoofers which gives uniformity throughout the sound.

As for the amplification, M&K Sound speakers actually require less power to be driven that most speakers due to their high sensitivity. The Denon flagship model receiver suits these best. A reliable and solid product.
